Kado's greatest dream is to have a family. But he's asexual, and would probably never sire a child. So getting a pregnant prostitute to become his life partner is kind of perfect??
I've drawn Ione with her long dark red hair most of the time, but she cuts & dyes it literally a day after meeting Kado...
Throughout their first few months together, the two really don't spend much time alone together. Ione stays with the elders, and Kado, with his pa. He does chores and she plays with the old guys.
