they're from Vocaloid ^^ it's not an anime, but a voice synthesizer program xD and Rin and Len are two voices of this program (there are also many others!)
annd well...they're supposed to be mirror images of each others, then some say they're twins, but they can also be a couple ^^ lol Vocaloid's background stories are all pretty much up to the fans XD
