Umm, all of those artists don't misplace their deviations to get on the front page. They're extremely talented and always get up there simply because their art is good.
You don't have a god-given right to get up there just because you made it in the past. The system has been more or less fixed for the past few weeks so if your art isn't getting up on the front page when submitted into the correct category, it's because not enough people like your art. Simple as that. You're being a hypocrite because you went on about how wrong it was for people to be abusing the category system in your journal about the "front page issue" yet here you are, cheating again and again even after the front page is fixed.
There's plenty of people who submit into the correct category and still get up there (e.g. luluseason, namie, emperpep)... and 2/3 of those submit under the same category you normally would.

okay, I know! but lately they've been doing that too, believe me, I've seen them doing so many many times :/
nope, it's because the category I submit to is FanArt, and that category never gets up there anymore! the only fanarts you'll see are those not categorized as FanArts! and I know what I can do, and with my standard I could be there even now >.>
ahah I know! it's a lame thing to do! and yes, I tried it too, and it worked only once! I know they are, because the category that for them is right is not "Fanart" it's "manga and anime" and other categories that still "work", and if you see Manga and Anime>traditional media is always kicking off the "digital media" pictures, I've seen a picture by Meago that got surpassed by another picture just because that one was in traditional and her one digital! so it's all but fixed
