"I didn't want those stupid awards anyway!"If you're a more hardcore ROTG fan (Do we have a name? If not, I vote for Believers.), you'd probably agree that the movie has been treated rather unfairly by the film-award-giving community. (Really, Academy? Really?) I figured with all the attention some of the other "Big Four" (Hiccup, Jack, Merida, and Rapunzel) have gotten this year, Jack would feel a little irked about being somewhat ignored.
TO BE FAIR, yes, the movie has has received some more obscure nods, not to mention 2 Annies and a freaking Golden Globe nomination, but it just doesn't quite compare with, say, the 243928342 accolades the HTTYD franchise has. (Which, by the way, are well deserved. You'll never hear me say a bad thing about the movie/series/shorts/any of 'em! And of course, I love Brave and Tangled, too.) I'm just amused by the idea of a jealous Jack.
