*EDIT* Adjusted the levels a bit to increase contrast and saturation so that it looked more on the at school Mac-monitors like it appeared on my home PC, also shrunk the fullview, so for the ACTUAL file view hit download!

Boy howdy this one was sort of tough. Really the only big problem was getting over procrastinating.

I've been LOVING using OpenCanvas and the lack of a Mac version really kills me. If only due to my inexperience with Photoshop I just can't gel with it as well for lineart when OpenCanvas just hands you these smooth lines... I've taken to doing just about every step in that program and I love everything about it. The way the color mixes the way line weight works, everything!!! Seriously, someone port it to Mac.

Anyhow, I LOVE Runaways even though it's currently enjoying one of those year-long six issue arcs that Joss Whedon likes to do because of his silly little TV engagements. Really, I love his Astonishing X-Men and I don't mind waiting for it, but to not get Runaways monthly when it's been my number one pull since X-StatiX was canned, too much!

Interestingly enough I don't feel like Karolina or Xavin have gotten their fair shake of exploration lately, though they aren't my favorite characters in the series (Molly and Vic for the win), but I am blown away by their designs. They both present the opportunities for some stellar (hurr-hurrrr) visuals and whenever pretty much anyone gets their hands on them something good happens. That said I decided to do a bit MORE fanart (Astro, I know, imagine how the Carls feel) and couldn't resist taking a shot at these two awesome and underrated Marvel stars.

So, as I said, lineart, inks, and colors done in openCanvas v. 1.1 with after effects done in Photoshop Elements. Didn't keep track of the time but it was a while. I'll probably need to up the contrast and reload when I can check this out on a monitor that doesn't up the contrast a billion percent like this one does, but hopefully they look ok anyway.

Karolina and Xavin can be seen in Marvel's Runaways whenever Joss Whedon hands in a new script, and I'm sure the Runaways will be subjected to some random tie-in sometime soon.

Oh yeah, go ahead and fullview, but this thing is pretty huge!
