Unpopular opinion: I did not care for Vision and his impending doom in Part 1 of Infinity War. I felt more for Wanda when we saw her relationship with Pietro, and I missed him.

So I put this together: this time, we see the Maximoffs living together, in hiding (hence Pietro's lack of white hair and beard), and continuing to make viewers uncomfortable with their closeness.

And, no, that last part wasn't an accident! Olsen said it herself:
"Every time you see an image of them, they’re always holding each other’s hand and looking over each other’s shoulder. They’re always so close, it’s almost uncomfortable. Aaron and I have been playing a little bit with those kinds of images just for ourselves."
