Medically, I'm not ok with smoking (my mum's a nurse; professional hazard), and the cig's making me think I should not be as in love with this pic as I am. There's just something gorgeous about this shot, and I know she's lighting up and I know I should be against that, but I look at it and my brain goes to mush at the simple beauty of it. Gorgeous, gorgeous shot, hun. <3

don't know why, but i always liked photos of people smoking. this one is georgeous, congratulations.

Wonderful close-up shot, however I don't like the fact that the top of her head is cropped. It would be nice, if at all possible, to see a version sans lopped-off head-top.
Smoking seems to be nearly completely thought of as completely undesirable, but I (as a smoker) don't mind in the slightest.
Seriously, where do you find your models?
Then again, I don't normally tell people before I shoot them. Camera-wise, that is. I would have to make a formal chalenge for a duel if I were to shoot someone any other way.

sweet photo. it's actually really hard to light a cig on the beach. disregarding that, the cigarette makes this photo seem gritty and real. the bleak, pale colors of the background and the darkness of the subject reinforce this idea. i like it

i actually love that she has a cigarette...it seems to let you into a "moment." smoking is seen as weak, a bad habit, but at the same time glamorous and tough. i'd like to think that this photograph plays on both.

when i first saw this picture i took me a while to figure out that it wasn't me. it's a really sweet picture. i just thought for a second that she was me when i had my long hair. she is very pretty by the way.
