A traditional character drawing done on paper, then scanned into the computer, added colour and creating a decent background via photoshop and voila: Proud Fox. Lot of blues in this one .

To why my fox character is acting so defiant and proud, I am unsure. Perhaps he is facing an evil villian, saying "I will not run from you any more!". Perhaps he is making a speech, saying that he will never give up or let his friends down. Perhaps he's trying his best to appear confident, hiding the fact he has a severe leg cramp .

Could be any number of reasons. You decide.
