Darkseid watches the events going on from his monitor on Apokolyps. He turned to Desaad and said
"Tell Kanto the Pride Enhancing ray he used on Batman a month ago is having more the effect I desired. Even his beloved Justice League has turned on him. Has Mannheim arrived yet?"

THe Titans have sent similar comments Batman made earlier they recorded like "That Iris Allen can sure fill out a Batgirl Costume or Hal Jordon's lucky I didn't have a yellow crayon with me or it would'da been me punching him out. Darkseid laughs at the effects of his revenge ray as it is only bringing up what Batman has thought but kept silent about in the past. As Rita Farr is about to hurl The Dark Knight 40 feet in the air for endangering her adopted son Beast Boy, when Big Barda arrives and informs everyone that Batman is obviously a victim of Darkseid's pride ray. It's incurable and now everyone forgives him because he has a CONDITION and must be tolerated because he can't help it. Mister Miracle, also there, reminds everyone else how they forgave Hal Jordan, Captain Atom, Hawk, Atom Smasher and others.
The Justice League feels lousy for wanting to kill Batman and they leave. Darkseid rages
