Description Okay, first off, I know it's a really awkward diagram but it's the only way I found easy to illustrate this.
Alright so this afternoon I came home and started messing around with my makeup and came up with an awesome compilation of makeup ideas to make one big amazing Rapunzel makeup idea and I actually came up with this really, really awesome technique for faking a ski slope nose like Rapunzel's, all based around contouring..which it was actually my very first time contouring. It's actually extremely simple, it just takes a bit of a steady hand and the right color eyeshadows :3
So the first thing you'd want to do is take a medium brown matte (not sparkly or shiny) eyeshadow and a small eyeshadow brush and, from the inner end of your eyebrow, kind of outline the bridge of your nose like in the diagram except a little straighter (I don't have the steadiest hand when drawing in paint ). It'll look really awkward and hard but take your finger and smudge it in. Hopefully you'll notice the bridge of your nose will now look thinner and more defined. If the bridge of your nose is already pretty thin then you can probably skip this stage. The next thing you want to do is take your brown eyeshadow and draw a slightly curved line along the top of your nose like in the diagram and then blend out with your finger. This'll make right above the tip of your nose appear more shadowed like when you have a ski slope. Shade around your nostrils a bit to help make your nose look slimmer and, of course, if your nose is already pretty slim you can skip this step. The last step, if you feel like doing it (some people like doing this, other's don't) is highlight the bridge and tip of your nose. Just take a beige eyeliner or white (I'd suggest a beige since white looks a bit too harsh and unnatural-- that's the color I used on myself) and draw a line down the middle of your bridge and smudge. Dot some on the tip of your nose and smudge as well. After this, you should look like you have an awesome ski slope!
Hope this helps and if you have any questions, I'd be more than delighted to answer. I may do a video tutorial of this tomorrow as well or maybe just the entire Rapunzel makeup instead.
