Description Finishing up the art today, I have another Keyblade redo. Based on the Pacific Rim franchise, including the first Pacific Rim movie, Pacific Rim: Uprising and now, the newest series, Pacific Rim: The Black, we have a redo of the Drift Compatible Keyblades, the only one I have made that comes as a dual set. This was after I had finished watching the new series on Netflix, and I couldn't help but make this after planning it out. I really love every entry into the franchise, even Uprising, despite what others say about it. Pacific Rim was a great starting movie, and its sequel made way for some light-hearted material that was needed after the Kaiju War. Pacific Rim: The Black helped to expand upon the series, and even gave some great continuity nods. So, rather than have the redo be based on the first movie alone, this one now focuses on the whole franchise. Like the first one, the blade is the infamous chain sword used by Gypsy Danger, with the visor of the Jaeger helmet as the teeth, the guard is a Jaeger Pilot helmet, with a handle that is gold, yellow and red, the chains are blue, to represent both Gypsy Danger and Gypsy Avenger, and the token for both keychains are control gauntlets for the left and right hemispheres. In fact, one Keyblade is meant for the right hand with the other meant for the left, and are given to the wielder or wielders to use together. Separately, they are strong, but used together, they are more powerful. For this, the user can establish the Neural Handshake, allowing for the bond between the two users to increase, and grant them enhanced strength and speed. Form Changes include a club shaped like the cargo ship, shipping crates as brass knuckles, arm blades resembling the Chain Swords, the chain spike used by Atlas Destroyer, a wrecking ball that can turn into Scrapper, and the nuke launcher from Hunter Vertigo. While it is a far possibility, I think the Pacific Rim movie would make a good addition to cloud4012 's "The Nobody of Ever After High" Story, especially since bonds are a major part of the story, and the storyline for all of Pacific Rim. What do you think? Please enjoy!
