Today, for my new Kamen Rider art, I have here a Showa Era Kamen Rider. This is of the fourth Kamen Rider, seen in Kamen Rider V3, Riderman, now as Kamen Rider Riderman. I wanted to do something special for him, as his suit was more of a combatant suit than an actual Rider suit, and according to sources around the times of Kamen Rider The Next and Kamen Rider Decade: All Rider vs Dai-Shocker, Joji Yuki was to have a new Riderman design, similar to the reboot designs, but was never able to be made outside of concept art. So, I went and did my own take on it. The helmet was from a 3D Design of a "reboot" design, though the full body was never shown. I went and did my own take on it, taking away the mouth carving that was originally seen on it. Then I went and changed other parts of the suit, with the chest area and belt being the most different from the original. In order to make an updated design of Riderman, I went and looked at the SIC figures of him, and used the chest piece for this. It looks good on him, as it helps to show a rebooted version instead of the original. I also changed his Cassette Arm to a sword arm that he was shown to have from concept art. I had done it before, but it was a bit lousy. So, I went and applied extra detail to every part of the Cassette Arm, resulting in this awesome sword arm here. I really like the work that has been put into this, as I feel it would have been a good design if the reboot movies of the Showa Riders were to have continued. Still, I hope you all like what I created here. What do you think? Please enjoy!
