great coloring. old idea though - with the rubber duck, however never made with such style and glamour one would never though that it is possible to obtain that much style with a rubber duck photograph.

Hahaha, just came upon this shot by accident. What a great job you did!! The clearness of the shot and how there is no blurring at all from the water.

quack!

this is wonderfully done, i love how the droplets are captured mid-flight out from the splash

which makes the duck look like he has an expression of shock, from the coldness of the water, instead of a standard "quack face"

very nice

I've spent so much time hunched over the sink trying to get shots like this - almost all unsuccessfully too. Apart from the obvious cool still water thing happening here, the strong yellow on the blue looks really excellent.

i could say it was definitely worth all the attemps again u've captured vibrant colors with an ordinary but interesting subject.

i used to have a rubber ducky...when i was four or five. 0.o

This picture is very nice...the blue background helps draw attention to the duck. THe water is also very nice! I agree with serendipity2, it does look like the duck is breaking through a wall.

This is really well done, I'm impressed. I can't imagine how many times you had to drop that duck. I really like the contrast between color and patterns here. Wonderful.

cool, I bet this did take a long time. It does almost look like he's breaking through a wall! Very cool.

The contrast, not only in color, but in the simplicity of the duck next to the rather decorative plate{?} is really what pulls me into the image. This one turned out rather well in terms of composition, although it must have taken some practice to drop the duck precisely You must have a lot of patience!

heh, cool...nice shot. I like how you froze the water. Looks like the ducky is breaking through some kind of wall.
