Description
Here's the next challenger, hailing from the NES, Mach Rider joins the fanmade battle! There's some debate on Mach Rider's gender, and I personally think Mach Rider's female, so that's what I will refer to her as. Mach Rider will have a fuel meter for her bike as well, which can make you slower, and do less damage with bike-related attacks.

ALTERNATE COLORS/COSTUMES:

Mach Rider's first alternate color is the appearance she has as a trophy in Super Smash Bros Melee. The next color is the exact same as the default costume, but with a red helmet. This reflects Mach Rider's appearance in artwork and the artwork for the Famicom game's boxart. Next up is Mach Rider with darker blue replacing the light blue and red, which references Mach Rider's original sprite. Next is a fully green Mach Rider, which references a Quadrunner, an enemy in Mach Rider. Mach Rider then gets a purple alt, with the purple replacing the blue, and black replacing the red. This references an alternate color for Mach Rider. Mach Rider's final color swap is one that makes the blue and red on her suit a golden color. This references the colors of the text on the Mach Rider title screen. Finally, Mach Rider's final costume makes the red white, the blue skin-colored and will take Mach Rider's mask off, revealing her face. This also makes Mach Rider's voice lines hearable and not muffled.

MOVESET:

Neutral-B - Machine Gun: Mach Rider will start to charge the machine gun on her bike, and depending on how long you charged it for, the more bullets will shoot out.

Side-B - 2nd Gear: Mach Rider will hop on her bike and ride it around, similar to Wario's side special. The only difference is that you can't lose the bike because Mach Rider is always on it or holding it up.

Up-B - Mach Discharge: Mach Rider will use some fuel from her bike, which propels her upwards. It's a pretty standard recovery.

Down-B - Mach Recharge: Mach Rider will plug a socket into her bike, and wait for it to be refueled. It takes around 2 to 3 seconds for a full charge.

Final Smash - Mach Barrage: This move is a cutscene FS, and it is activated by Mach Rider slashing with her dagger for an attack. Get hit by the dagger, and you'll be sent into this cutscene FS. The player who was hit is seen lying on a desert road, with Mach Rider driving extremely fast and knocking them into the air. After that, Mach Rider pulls out her machine gun, and fires tons of bullets at you and creating a massive explosion, ending the FS.

VICTORY/ENTRANCE ANIMATIONS/TAUNTS:

Mach Rider's entrance shows her driving in on her bike. Mach Rider's up-taunt shows her pointing forward with her dagger, saying "Come on!". Her side-taunt shows her quickly check her bike. Mach Rider's down-taunt shows her briefly taking off her helmet, and then putting it back on. If the costume being used is the one without the helmet, she will instead mutter "You really though I was a guy?".

Mach Rider's first victory animation shows her racing on her bike in circles. Mach Rider's second victory animation shows her getting off her bike and saying "I am fearless, I am alone. I am Mach Rider.". Mach Rider's final victory animation shows her taking off her helmet, saying "The battle's still raging on.".

REVEAL TRAILER:

The trailer starts with Captain Falcon in his Blue Falcon, Wario on his bike, Fox in his Arwing and Kirby on his Warp Star, all racing down a desert road. What they don't know is that they are being watched by Mach Rider, who is watching on a small mountain. After jumping down, she races after them. She shoots down Kirby who falls onto Wario's bike and then Fox does as well. They all then jump onto the Blue Falcon, which gets blown up. Luckily, all 4 survive. Mach Rider then emerges from the flames, and her splash screen appears. Her tagline reads "Mach Rider Races In!". After that, we cut into gameplay of her and her FS. After the Smash Ultimate logo plays, the trailer cuts back to the CG portion, with Captain Falcon, Wario, Fox and Kirby all being blown off into the background. Mach Rider then takes off her helmet, revealing her true gender. Behind her, Samus appears who starts to charge an attack. Mach Rider then dashes towards her, ending the trailer. During the trailer, a rock remix of the Mach Rider Melee theme plays, which is a brand new song that comes with Mach Rider.

PALUTENA'S GUIDANCE:

PIT: Hey, it's Mach Rider! I haven't seen him for so long!

VIRIDI: Don't you mean "her", Pit?

PIT: Um, no. Mach Rider's a dude.

PALUTENA: Actually Pit, Mach Rider is indeed female.

PIT: Whoa! How does she attack?

PALUTENA: Mach Rider uses her bike to attack you, but has to recharge occasionally.

VIRIDI: Rumor has it that Mach Rider's home city was destroyed, and now, she's off to save other humans and stop the Quadrunners, an gang of racers who have butted heads with Mach Rider in the past.
