Sorry if it feels like I’ve been doing a bit much in SMG4 ships, I’m just a sucker for it ever since the whole Axol x Melony deal. I’ll give my thoughts now-

Mario x Meggy: I ship it. I never cared for their 2021 to pre-lawsuit arc dynamic and thought the attempted “sibling dynamic” was forced and at times cringe, and their best moments to me never come off as “sibling relationship”, just as super close friends that have been through a lot together. Post lawsuit arc Meggy & Mario are back to a super close friends dynamic with only a hint of sibling energy and I love it, I think them as a couple would work

Axol x Melony: the definitive SMG4 ship. They truly love each other and while one of them is dead, their love for each other didn’t die with Axol. If alive, Axol would’ve made Melony the happiest person in the world. This was always meant to be and I won’t be told otherwise

Tari x Belle: this comes more from an idea I had in another post called “The CyberVerse Arc”, where one of the plots is Belle becoming closer with Tari and it ending with them as an item. I think it could work personally, take it as you will

SMG4 x SMG3: I thought 3’s tsundere moments were hilarious and it’d be funny if it actually happened. Not big about it like I am the top 3 but wouldn’t mind if it happened either

Meggy x Tari: not a terrible ship, I do think their personalities could work for it, but their relationship is super underdeveloped and it would be out of nowhere for them to start liking each other as of yet

Bob x Boopkins: same deal as SMG4 & 3 except their more like buddies imo

Luigi x Saiko: had a few good moments overall and their dynamic was good for it, but, like Meggy x Tari, not developed over the years. Plus I don’t think Saiko’s the type to date and Luigi has shown signs of being gay, though I’d argue more that he’s bi leaning towards gay personally

Axol x Meggy: couple good moments but Melony is Axol’s definitive babe, and imo Mario to Meggy

SMG3 x Belle: self explanatory

SMG4 x Tari: the ship literally only exists because of the color of their clothes, that and I don’t think Tari is ready to date yet. The only reason I have TxB as an OTP is because I know how an arc can make it work
