Credit to SMG4 for the characters & franchise… and hopefully taking this idea of they see if and deciding it’s good lol

The main squad will be Mario, SMG1,2,3 & 4, Saiko & Kaizo, Swag & Chris, Meggy, and Bowser

Mario and SMG4 because they’re usually the main characters and should be present during the arc like always. SMG3 because he’s a former villain and should be able to help combat the main villain intellectually… that and we might as well get the whole SMG gang together if SMG1&2 are needed. Saiko and Kaizo for the same reason as SMG1&2; need actual involvement. Meggy’s here because… well, she’s Meggy, she’s always there. Swag & Chris because they’re the military and Bowser because he’s a kingdom leader & former villain… and again, needs actual involvement, hasn’t gotten much in a couple years

The most important characters plot wise are SMG1&2 because they know the main villain (who they fought a while back and are terrified of for valid reasons), Bowser & Swag & Chris because… well, military, and the main villain

The main villain will be Fade from Fortnite, simply because he looks terrifying and dark. He’d be the leader of the Marauders and he’d be after the SMG4 gang specifically because he wants to submit all worlds into anti-matter corruption (cube energy) and the gang have saved the world a good deal of times, him seeing them as this #1 threat

He’d be a sort of mix between TFP Megatron and LoK Amon writing wise. He’d have charisma but also is a feared threat. I’d also make it personal by saying he had something to do with the events of the Anime Arc. The story would be that he was the one who kidnapped Axol, presented Francis the idea of an anime island, and it was his marauders who kidnapped Meggy. But he also purposely left anime back at Meggy’s place because his goal wasn’t genocide, his goal was to make his enemies suffer, to utterly BREAK them. He’s scary because he’s both smart and ruthless, on a level that’s downright intimidating
