I try to ignore your annoying voice,
I try to ignore your annoying face.
Alas, every attempt is a feeble waste of my time.
I pretend to like you,
I try to smile when you smile at me.
Alas, every attempt is a feeble waste of my time.
I bottle up all my anger towards you,
I try to simply be nice.
Alas, every attempt is a feeble waste of my time.
One of these days,
My attempts will succeed.
And I will simply omit you from my circle of friends.
