True story: Last year, just after sunrise, the fire alarms went off in our hotel. Barley awake, hair mussed, eyes bleary, I toddled to the door to see fire fighters walking by, kind of annoyed, followed by my youngest sis, who was filming said sunrise on her porch, the next door neighbors, and my nieces, who were about to leave for their drive home.

Never did find out exactly what happened - story was a misfire in one of the room detectors. At least there was no fire. Cutest moment was my youngest niece (then 3) knocking on the door to alert my the fire drill was over lol. Thanks, kid.
