I was born from TruthI’ve been here before it was written
I sit by the doorway of my house
I call to you daily to get your attention
I’m older than the earth itself,
I’m fresh and new, to those who don’t know me
I despise injustice, deceit, perversity
I hate the arrogant, the proud, the foolish
I am more precious than gold and silver combined
I am riper than any fruit in this world
I am purer than water
I am in every book, in every sermon, in every prayer—to the shrewd
I am a skilled craftsman
I have built my own house
I welcome anyone who is inexperienced
I stand at the streets, by the lamp posts, calling people to this day
I’m personified as female
But I’m not a person…….
