So I did a poll, got two votes out of two for this, so here it is.
The Fenix is a mostly incorporeal grimm, much like giests, so it is very difficult to kill or subdue for that matter.
Most of it's body is made of a super heated plasma, so physical contact of any sort is discouraged. It has the ability to spew this plasma from the two bone masks at it's "head".
It's true body is the mask it spews plasma from. If available, use long range to attack this spot.
Found nesting at the few mountains in Vacuo, making these few refuges from the desert as dangerous as the wasteland from which you wish to escape.
