"This little guy has been quite the interesting FUSEmon to work on. For starters, the idea for this was actually suggested by one of my volunteer workers, Miyumi. She's one of my best FUSEmon caretakers, always seeming to know just what makes each individual FUSEmon tick. She's usually quite quiet, so it was honestly came as a bit of a surprise to me when she proposed the idea. Mulling the idea over in my head, I figured it was a harmless enough idea, so I decided to go through with the idea. (Judging by the look on her face, I could tell she was absolutely thrilled with hearing that!) And thus, we have what I think, so far...the cutest FUSEmon that I've ever whipped up! Ladies and gentlemen, Zoruvee, the Kitsune FUSEmon!"

"Like Typhang, Zoruvee's design is rather straight-forward, as Eevee and Zorua's design elements are very similar to each other. Still, that's not a bad thing, as it makes Zoruvee look very simple and clean. I guess I'm just used to more complex designs. However, as you would expect from a Zorua fusion, Zoruvee managed to retain some of Zorua's illusionary abilities, as it's able to completely vanish from sight in an instant. In reality, the little guy just turns invisible to the naked eye, but others don't know that. Certainly makes for an interesting game of hide-and-seek!"

"Personality-wise, Zoruvee is quite the playful little FUSEmon. Granted, Eevees are already very playful Pokemon as it is, but having Zorua in the mix gives that playful demeanor more of a trickster's edge. It absolutely adores playing with the smaller FUSEmon around the lab, like Pikooick and Mantakip, and it can even get along with some of the bigger FUSEmon! And, of course, Miyumi just downright loves the little guy and its rather infectious smile! It's a welcome sight to see! (Epsecially after dealing with Typhang.)"

"Now, for its battling abilities, I haven't been able to actually get it out on the battlefield. Miyumi just wouldn't hear of it, so I had to run this through the battle simulator. Zoruvee relies on evasionary tactics, using its Mirage ability to dodge attacks and throw the opponent off guard. However, relying on that ability is very risky, as Mirage doesn't always activate when it needs to. And yes, while Mirage's activation rate does increase the more health it loses, it's still never guaranteed to activate all the time. And besides, Zoruvee's defenses are kinda frail, so simply survivng an attack is a feat in and of itself. It does have one ace up its sleeve: Eon Burst, a move that always deals super-effective damage. This would be a very handy move in battle...if Zoruvee had the offensive stats of a fully evolved Pokemon. Still hurts...just not a lot."

"Zoruvee has definitely been a nice little distraction from all of the dangerous FUSEmon I love to make, and it does my heart good to fulfill a request for a friend like Miyumi......but let's be real here. I'm ignoring the Donphan in the room. You and I both know what Eevee's signature trait is! There is a whole slew of evolutions for Zoruvee just BEGGING to be discovered! Just sucks that I don't have the time to research them all...but right now, anyways......I might need some help with this one..."

And THAT'S where YOU come in...

You see, I want to hold a bit of a mini-contest with this guy. We all know Eevee has access to so many different evolutions. So, I thought it'd be fun to make a FUSEmon with that same gimmick, and see what people come up with for those evolutions!
That's right! Your task for this little mini-contest is to give Zoruvee some evolutions! One for each official Eeveelution! You can do as many as you want, but just remember that Zoruvee is part-Zorua, so these evolutions need to have Zoroark in the mix. Your categories are as follows:

Vapereon/Zoroark
Entrants: 10

Jolteon/Zoroark

Flareon/Zoroark
Entrants: 12

Espeon/Zoroark
Entrants: 7

Umbreon/Zoroark

As for what medium you can use, digital or tradtional drawings are fine. Also, I wasn't originally going to inlcude this, but to make this accessible to everyone, spriters can join in the mix, too. And when the contest is all said and done with the winner's decided, I'll take all the winning entries and stick them in a group picture with Zoruvee. Just 'cuz!

Speaking of winners, the winners of each respective category will earn a free FUSEmon request, as well some from advertising to your DA page...maybe. I haven't really decided on that...

Anyways, the contest deadline is exactly a month from now, August 28th! Good luck everyone! (I hope this ends up going well...)
