I really like how you did this, super-tuler. In my opinion, this just made Beartic even more awesome. The way that you colored his fur, ice beard and Ice Punch gives it a glass-like feel to it. Like many of your work, I'm impressed to see such an amazing job you have done. Keep up the great work.

Man, I wished I could like Beartic more. For one, I really could have used an Ice Pokemon going into the Dragon Leader fight, and there's never many common options for that. But I just could't like his design, with the gratuitous crotch-fur and the icicle neckbeard. Plus he's very...pointy, and triangular. Kinda an odd shape for a bear.

Hes pointy and triangular because he's supposed to resemble a snow mountain to support its "Arctic" theme. I think.

Well yeah I can appreciate the though behind it (actually a few of the new designs are quite brilliant in that aspect) but I still just don't like the aesthetics of it. Like for a tree or a rock "mountain" it'd look okay, but for a bear it just doesn't look normal and throws me off.
Now that I think about it I'm not sure if I really care for any of the Ice types in Black and White. Vanillish is cute but his evolutions just start looking derpy, and Cryo...thing is parts freaky and uninspired.

Even though if you find that unnormal, its better than just a "generic" bear shape which would scream unorginal since Ursaring already has that "bear" shape. And if you watch the anime it can actually run on its hind legs [link] (go to 1:37 and 2:13) removing its pointy and triangular look.
