Download for the full view!MAN, OH ...MAN! This single handedly takes a dozen cakes for being the HUGEST commission I have ever done. And it was all done on ustream as I promised. You can check out some of the recorded chunks on my ustream channel which should be linked on my page soon. I seem to do this regularly as it is both fun, and ...it keeps me in gear. (:
I'm extremely happy with how this turned out and I sure hope *BatteryMunkey is too with the outcome. She even got me to include Jakk and myself in this picture which I am extremely grateful for given the opportunity to include even my own characters in the act of all this. Lots of fifth generation action is happening in this piece as well.
I'm really not sure what to say on the perspective, I attempted a mild fish eye view sorts to kind of capture the city and the water/railings with all the pokemon mingling about. I tell you this was a record for the largest picture scale wise measuring at about 18 wide by 28 tall. The dimension is poster size as requested from the start. She'll be printing this once she recieves the .pdf file (which is available if you tell me at the start of a commission if you plan on printing it.)

Not sure if you've ever seen it, but this slick cityscape scene is givin' me a huge Oliver and Company vibe meets Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Now all you need is to get some Billy Joel goin' on and you've got it made.
...Okay, totally kidding on that last part, but you get the picture of my enthusiasm for this. It's gone from jumbo to hero in ten seconds flat, dang.
Keep it up dude, good to see your kind friend enjoyed this to the fullest maximum.

Dude, amazing! The fisheye perspective really does wonders or the effect of the picture! The expressions on the pokemon ae amazingly well done, and I can get a feel for their respective personalities based on said expression, as well as their respective garments. That and you fit more or less the majority of the new fifth gen pokemon, and the brilliant job done to bring the viewer's eye all the way to the back of the picture!
I'm just seriously lovin' this picture, probably one of my top favorites here on dA!

WOW, that's insane! Nice gradual fisheye perspective, love the anime-style coloring. Wow that's so detailed and colorful in the right places... I get the feeling she's talking about that charizard going into the background or something.. *shrug* And of course, the otter pops in with his glasses as well.. XD Very cool, glad a comission went so well!

It's made for a big, big scale. This is actually 33 percent of the original sizing that's going to be printed XD Though I should tweak the net version of this so it is a bit less glowy and blury.
