There was an old deviation I had done in summer of 2008 and had resubmitted it to this account when I first joined (for the third time; I had three accounts in total.) It was called Jakk be Nimble Rush be Quick.So I felt this one was of the same concept so that is how the name came to be for any of those wondering or curious if it was named after it.
Did this on ustream. Took FOREVER... because I kept getting distracted by the lovely chat
but it was good times.Anywho... :3

Saw this on the UStream for a bit while I was there, and needless to say you came such a long way since that original sketch you were workin' out. These types of simple action pictures with flashy dynamic effects are always some of my personal favorites, and when you incorporate that theme into your artwork, it's just absolutely satisfying. They may play for the same team, but their evident rivalry is unavoidable...and for eye-candy's sake, for good reason.

how do you do that soft-edged looking shading? Do you just blur it after putting it in, or do you make a second layer and blur that instead?
