Description
Flareon happily spying on Pokabu as he explores the volcanic cave of sorts. I'm not quite sure where it is located but it is quite toasty looking. XDo3o The background turned out better then I had expected it too. I remembered some of the things I picked up a year or two ago about rocks and sort of implemented that unforgotten knowledge here (I usually forget stuff when I need it 8'D)
This was very enjoyable to draw, and I hope you guys like it as well! :3

Wow, great details on the bg, love the shading and painty-coloring on the characters! Nice idea having those two meet each other. I hope they give us their English names soon, I feel like I don't want to get too attached to their Japanese names right now..

I hope Pokabu keeps his name like Chicorita. It sounds English enough. Tsu and Miju are going to be hard to convert..espexially mijumaru x_x; I'm so darn used to saying his name it'll be so weird!

When I first saw pokabu, I knew I wanted to pick him. Mostly because the face he made look like this:

flareon and pokabu look amazing. the rocks fit in with the drawings, an it doesnt look copy and pasted together like some drawings do. im happy u drew this, flareon is my favorite eeveelution, and pokabu is my favorite 5th gen starter. (my sis thinks mijumaru is ugly, i agree o3o)

The coloring kind of reminds me of the early Pokémon artworks, looks great!

This new style ya got going is great. To me it's reminiscent of the old watercolor Sugimori art, yet a lot more colorful and lively.
The scene depicted here is wonderful. I like pictures like this that seem to have a little story behind them. The expressions just say it all. Plus the way you rendered the craggy rocks is pretty darn sweet too. Nice~

i happen t notice sometimes when i comment it relates to the artist comments so its kinda like repeating what you noticed of your work already

I love your style! Flareon looks like she jumped right out of one of those old Pokemon guidebooks from gen 1, when all of the art had sharp lines and shading, while Pokablu really has the newer, softer style about him. If that was intentional, awesome job.

oh i love your new way of coloring, it makes it all look like its from the anime itself! you do everything so perfectly, colors, textures, expressions, but the expressions i think should be hard because how limited space you have and the fact that it could so easily distort the face if you make the mouth too big or the eyes too small the pokemon could be unrecognizable! but you STILL do it well!
