Description

Arisa slipped the halter onto her buckskin stallion's head. The laid back horse had just finished running his heart out for her at his first show ever and Arisa couldn't be more proud. Laddie closed his eyes, lowering his large head so that Arisa could give him a scratch on the cheek.

"Good boy Laddie, you did so good" Arisa cooed, looking up to see Flora pull her saddle off of Laddie. The stallion was covered in sweat.

"Ooof someone worked hard, didn't you boy" the blonde haired woman said setting the saddle pad out to dry. Flora left briefly to get the bucket and sponge to begin cooling the sweaty horse down. "You looked like you had a good course, how'd you think it went?"

"Pretty good, I mean he was awesome but only time will tell how well we fared. Erica and Nova looked good too" Arisa replied

"Ahh well any good result will reflect well on the barn. I was hesitant when Erica said she wanted to go to a show but I'm glad we came." Flora said, still focused on wiping down Laddie. Arisa's eyebrows rose in surprise, it wasn't often that Flora admitted she was wrong. "If you tell her I said that then I swear your cottage is getting moved to the one by the manure shed."

Arisa chuckled "I won't tell her but you do realize that since this was s success Erica's going to be begging to go to more and more shows"

Flora sighed, "Yes, I figured. However next time I might participate. Fancy is feeling good and I think we're ready." she said referring to her black dressage stallion. Arisa nodded

"I mean you guys looked pretty good the other day schooling. I think Laddie should sit the next one out, he worked hard for me today and deserves a good rest. Besides you guys should have a groom." Arisa said giving Laddie a good scratch under the forelock. With a nod Flora finished up sponging Laddie down

"All done, lets get him onto the trailer and go watch Eliziran, she should be almost up!"
