Description wanted to practice my new tablet... so i decided to ink this page, digitally.

so what do you think? does digital work for me? one of the main trademarks of my style is my lines... so, no matter what i use to draw, i would like to keep that. 7 years ago, i didn't like how digital inking made my lines look. they were too smooth & un-natural. however, with this new model wacom, the lines created looks almost like it's drawn on paper. it has the texture effect, & ink pressure variation. i really like that.

most digital artists that i know, like to draw their lines really fine & easy. but i like my lines bold & 'heavy' like this. & some imperfections makes the drawing more human. that's what i think. ^^

btw, colorists & commissioners, would you like it if i start making my linearts like this too?

this is being drawn with wacom manga tablet, in photoshop CS5...

I honestly thought this *WAS* drawn on paper till I read the comments.  I vote yes for the linearts like this!  Especially if it is easier for you to do it this way.

I was just going to say that she's TOTALLY CUTE, but then I saw that this was DIGITALLY inked so far, and now I have to say... Congratulations! You did a great job of keeping your style intact, despite the change of medium ^^

I think it looks great, digital drawings definitly works for you! I enjoy coloring both traditional and digital linearts so for me it makes no difference as long as the lines are steady and complete. As long as the linearts are the same format as they are now (JPEG? not transparant) i would not mind coloring linearts drawn by you digitally.

This is adorable! Your style is still very much apparent with the digital inking. I actually prefers to color lines that are digital because they're smoother. But your hand inked lines have always been very smooth, so I never even though about that with your work! I really want to color this one now...

I think that it would be a fantastic idea to keep your line arts as close to your original as possible. It just strikes the 'YOU' in them! Either way, this is another splendid piece you made here. I just love your style! ^^
