Description
Aquaria is my newest character. She's a Dragon mixed with a Lionfish; the name of her species will be determined at a later date with more sleep involved..Anyways. I rarely have colours like this so she was a fun change- she can change between this colour and a few others that ill list below

At the moment, she only changes into those other colours to help blend in; her skin can change its colour. Its limited to only those shown and her eyes never change.
-The four ear things on her head are antennae- she uses them to sense the vibrations in the water so she can hunt and eat things that scurry and swim.
- Her tongue is rather long and fat at the tip. Its pretty sticky too and pretty coarse like that of sandpaper.
- Teeth are small and serrated; she doesnt eat large prey so her teeth are well built for small crustaceans and various underwater plant life.
SO YEAH First reference sheet.. like.. real nice looking one.

Lionfish! My favorite fish! I drew one from the aquarium in the park once. They're either really tricky to draw or you take a lot of time trying to break down their frills and patterns. =u=

ouo Marine animals in general. Specially the deep see "abyss" ones that glow? Gosh, those are so breathtaking~ :'D
And yeah, they're fun! Tons of fun! But back then, I had this idea in my head that when drawing something from life, everything had to be EXACT. even if it was moving. Maybe I can try again and it might not be so bad? =u=

..Glowy is always pretty... -always-.. but specially on deep sea fish. =u= Magical dragons got nothing on them~

xDD my ex got me this name though when we ate these california sushi rolls. It was shrimp on rice and some seaweed. Then there was imitation crab meat. I guess californians are weird and we like cooked fish and fake meat. LOL
