Description
The earliest drawing I made of Caspian back before 2017 was of him as a chibi mermaid with a hat that read ‘Captain’ beside him and a message in a bottle, pining. When I found another doodle of them as mermaids from a couple years back, I decided to do a little sketch of the same pose, approximately. I was going to do it with them as humans underwater, but then switched them to mermaids like the doodle, and, well, 8 hours later and it’s not a sketch anymore.. I don’t usually do backgrounds, so even though I heavily referenced for this one, I’m still really proud of how it turned out. I like the piece overall, a rarity for me.
