Dude, that's kick ass! I live nowhere near the shore or ocean so I rarely even go to the beach :/
But seriously, from the looks of it, those guys derserve the championship, that sand-dragon's wicked as all hell

I live in Ocean Shores, WA, and we have an Annual Sand & Sawdust Festival every summer. ^_^ This reminded me of it since we have Kite contests, Sand Sculpting contests and even Chain-sawing sculpture contests. People from all over the world actually come and attend for one reason or another. It's my most favorite festival. ^_^ Awesome dragon!

This kicks the ass of my meagre sand-castle. That looks like it could jump out of the sand and start terrorizing people lol

It's a wonderful thing the 80's are no longer in vouge; otherwise you'd have to worry about "High School Jocks" terrorizing the contest, probably to a Devo soundtrack.
Although Devo does remain awesome...
Nice Sand-Dragon, by the by.

that is freaking awesome! i suck at sand sculpture. even with the sticky kind, i make it too elaborate (because i am an over enthusiastic type) and it fails and collapses

wow, it looks like it was carved from wood instead of something as soft as sand!
