It may look streaky in person, but I think the colors are a happy accident. I really like the way the colors shift. It adds more depth and movement and interest. They are rich and warm and I like the hues chosen. The detail and composition are really nice. I almost feel uncomfortable with how far she is to one side, like she's about to fall off, but it looks like she's intentionally showing off her wings and glorious tail.

Thanks so much, hon! And yeah, it does kinda seem as if she might tilt over at any moment, which is a common problem with drawing digitrade anthros, which is why so many artists draw them with huge paws to offset that effect. But I prefer to keep my paws realistically sized, since it wouldn't be any harder to walk on them than on those "cheetah legs" that amputee victims wear to run races in: [link]

I agree with you, I would rather see them normal size. Large looks cutsie.

Stunning! I wondered if anyone was going to do a mail corset for the portfolio. ^^ I'm not usually a peachy person, but the background within the knotwork frame really works with your subtle white/grey tones.
Careful ye don't get any fur caught in that mail! ^^

Aww, thanks, sweety! <3 And it wasn't a contest entry, but a portfolio entry, which means no competition.
All the artists chosen for the themed portfolio submit their images by the deadline, and then prints are made, the portfolios are compiled, and then sold at a convention. The profits are split amongst the artists involved, unless the proceeds are meant to go to a certain charity or fundraiser. This is my second portfolio to be involved in (the last one I put together, and it was for anthro art with a Celtic theme by 15 different artists), and it sold very well at Anthrocon. We made over 30 of them and sold them almost all of them, I believe, at $40 apiece; most of us had submitted 2 pics each, and most of the pics were in color, so it was a great deal, IMO.

Wow, the colour on this brought so much out in it!
I don't know how you can colour with markers in such small areas like the knot work!
Great work!

Thanks, sweety! This pic was 8 1/2 x 11, and the knotwork is about half an inch from the border of the paper all the way around, so that should give you an idea of how wide the knotwork was.
I just used the fine tip on the Prismas, and it seems to work well. Trias have an even smaller tip, but I haven't had the opportunity to use any of those yet.
