Thanks, and yes, it was something I did out of the blue as a gift for a priest in the church I used to attend before I moved to Norway (hence the Orthodox symbolism in it).

Yep, I do...and a really sharp one, but the tips break often.

we had to do that at school ones... I used a lot of scatchtape for it. I'd have cut my fingers!

If you mean "what instrument", I use an X-Acto knife on regular calligraphy parchment paper, with a heavier marbled (or other decorative paper) backing.
