Description
once again, a more recreation of the UFO I saw on Nov 5 2004.Third time I am rendering it. This time, tryin to see how it looked in an alien world.
Look at the building atop the hill at the left. . .made up of vector .
And, the scene, made of terragen
and UFO, made in vector and brushwork.
So this is a combination of Vector and 3d
And, I added a mist of compressed air around the UFO's leading edges, so as to indicate it as moving fast in a dense atmosphere.

How do you get a low level fog layer swaroop? Are you using terragen for that?

in this case, I used a layer for fog in postwork , . . .u see, with less opacity. . .and even less opacity towards the 'near' parts of the terrain , to make it look real.
however, it is possible to do the fog in terragen too

Good work on the UFO and the planet but I don't like the building on the left. It isn't drawn in good perspective (using a certain point on the horizon line as disapearence point into what all the horizontal lines should be pointed. But further on great concept, as I said, good work on the UFO and Planet but also the desert-like surroundings.

You really saw it?
JUST KIDDING!!!!
This is my favourite UFO-related piece by you so far - it's extremely cohesive, the UFO looks right at home... ( no pun intended ). I love the dynamic composition too. The UFO's flightpath seems to kind of follow the contour of the landscape, like it's steering past that mesa. I love the air effect on the leading edge of the craft too.

very beautiful. I love ufo's, aliens and all those sorts of things. what I really like in this piece is the contrast between the brown sand on the soil and the surreal green colours of the air.

Very cool, I like how you did the colours of the sky to really make it look like an alien world. And how the building off to the left is on top of that hill, makes it seem like its a dangerous place. Though I like some of your other stuff better, good job on this one.
