My final Maya project for Digital Illustration 3. Made this dude up one day then had the humorous thought that on (Transformers Prime) cybertron shouldn't there be an ecosystem and stuff? They have scraplets right? They also have a sea of rust and in seas there are crabs and crabs are scavengers or nature's clean up crew. So its a crab that eats rust. He doesn't have pinchers he has chisels. He rapidly hammers at a rusted metal surface breaking it into dust then sucks it up or something. The large hind legs are for jumping and rubbing them together to produce cricket like sounds for designating territory or a mating call if they even reproduce. He pulls all his limbs in and covers his head with his chisels to protect himself from predators and dust storms.
