So neither I nor my friend have ever played Splatoon before, but I was interested in the third game coming out for a while, so I figured since the testfire was free and kinda like a demo I'd try it out (and dragged my friend into joining me)

Anyways I sucked ass lol. Which I expected, but in spite of not being good I did have lots of fun!!! I ended up using the Octobrush most of the time, but I did play with the Splat Roller and Dark Duelies a bit, but with the Duelies I kept forgetting I had and not using the dodge rolls lmao. I don't have that kind of reaction time yet forgive me. But the best part of the experience was in the training room between matches, where like 9/10 other players would join me and my friend in flopping as a squid. Ah, friendship

Going in I thought paper was the least popular from the start, but damn 17% is a lot less than I expected, and yet still second place let's GO (Team Scissors got fucked over by Tricolour tho so let's give them a moment of silence) Also let me just say, that when this started, I had guessed team Rock would win. I just had a hunch, even halfway I still was like yeah I think Rock will ultimately win and guess who was RIGHT bitches that's right me

And finally, some of my favourite names I encountered:
noot, Hog, erth ftw, Qweef, ñya, baldi feet, DaddyPage, and finally mushi (Not a particularly funny name or anything but we had a good time playing matches with them and got very distressed when a communication error kicked us from the same team lol. Shoutout to mushi whoever you are)
