Faster Hedgehog: sky blue, white ears and spine tips, grey eyes. Wears green shirt and green tennis shoes
Fang Echidna: Dark blue grey, pale yellow eyes, fang on right corner of mouth. Wears tan cargo pants
Cloud Chaser bat: white, orange eyes. wears blue t-shirt, blue jeans, white scarf, and blue and black boots
Shade cat: black, hazel-flecked green eyes. Wears blue shirt, dark blue jeans, black shoes
Ghost Fox: pale grey, blind blue eyes, one tail. Wears blue-green vest, brown tattered jeans, and a pouch on his waist with medical equipment
Sapphire 'Gem' Hedgehog: light blue-grey, green eyes. Wears blue and white sundress, white leggings, white shoes. Carries a staff (cerebral palsy in left leg)
Skylar 'Sky' Hedgehog: deep blue, sky blue spine, ear, tail and bang tips

Sonic, his wife, Faster, and the band, along with the two kids crept into the abandoned warehouse. Sonic and Sapphire walked down one isle of mouldering crates and rusting metals, when a bullet blasted the crate in front of Sapphire open. She fell backward with a shriek of surprise. Sonic was at her side in seconds. So focused was he on his daughter, that he didn't see the knife coming, until he heard the whup. He turned, expecting an enemy, and Sapphire started screaming.
Faster stood there, swaying slightly. The tip of a knife potruding from her chest, and blood beginning to soak her green t-shirt. Her legs shook, and she fell onto her side. "Faster! No!" yelled Sonic, his yell of such a tone it brought everyone else running, or flying, in Cloud Chaser's case. "Oh, my god!" yelped Cloud Chaser, getting there first.
"Faster!"
"no!"
"Not her, anything but her!"
Fang interrupted the chorus of disbelieving yells and wails with a wail of such grief it made everyone jump and look around to see if the grim reaper was there. Fang shook, and kneeled by Faster's side, cltuching her side. "You were the best family any hedgehog could have, I love you all, and will walk with you in your dreams, Good bye," rasped Faster, and then she closed her eyes, and slipped away into the arms of Death.
