Yeah, I never understood how Mac and Cheerilee broke up. It came right out of nowhere, and it was neither shown nor told.

It was probably just to signify shyness in Hearthbreakers, but Marble definitely has a crush on Big Mac, as there was that scene in Best Gift Ever, of her being heartbroken when Big Mac and Sugar Belle kissed under the mistletoe, but I don't think Big Mac likes Marble (or at least anymore, if he did ever), as he's so hopelessly in love with Sugar Belle.

Yeah If it was love there would have probably been hearts popping out like there was with Cheerilee and Sugar Belle.

Technically the cousins thing hasn't been confirmed, but yeah, I agree. Although it is possible to be happy for someone and at the same time wish things were different. I mean, Flash was happy for Sci-Twi being with Timber Spruce, but he was jealous at the same time, and the Mane 5 were happy for Rarity when she got that job for the costume designer in Rarity Takes Manehattan, and Twilight said "We're happy for you, Rarity, we're just sad for us."

I actually didn't ship Big Mac with anypony before Sugar Belle. I knew that a lot of people shipped Cheerimac, but that just didn't click for me, because it had only been because of a love potion, no real love or anything. Then when I found out Big Mac had a crush on Sugar Belle, it was just "This is amazing! Big Mac actually has a real crush!" then by the end of the episode I was just "I ship it. Period."
