SO... i've been neglecting my FA account quite a bit lately, but now it's time for a come-back. and what better way to come back to the site and prove that i'm still alive than to go WAY back in time and show the very first picture of James Swift ever!

That's right folks, this is the very first picture i ever drew of our beloved sleek-and-wingless dragon boy. drawn way back in 1999 before i ever even intended to take him on as my "Fursona". it started as an experiment to see if i could reproduce the same type of humanoid-dragon artwork that i'd been so enthralled with at the time (mostly from a website known as the VCL).
I had decided that this fella needed to be kinda like a "Joe Everyman" and yet have something kinda special too without being some prodigy or anything too far out-there. even his name reflects this: James (the common part of his name) Swift (the "cool" part of the name).

Anyway, hope you guys liked taking this little stroll down memory lane with me. I'll be uploading a lot more pics very shortly, and they're all from within the much more recent past.
