This is a really nice pic, i hold this one rather close to my heart because of the story that goes with it.
there's a number of things a couple can do together that helps draw them closer. in this case i let Padu shave me. .. on my face of course
she told me a week ago that i needed to do something different with my facial hair rather than just shaving it all off all the time. so i let it grow out in time for the convention, but due to hectic departure timing we didn't get to it until saturday morning AT the FurFiesta convention.

i leaned over the bathroom sink while she sat upon the counter. she took my razor and proceeded to trim my facial hair and style it so that my chops now come down to my jawline and make a little arrow forward along the jaw bone then stop at a short point. then trimmed off my mustache and most of the sides of my beard until i just had an "and beard" left (term we picked up in the Philippines. refers to the term "mustache and beard" where all 3 words mean a different piece, even the "and" which is the little patch between lower lip and chin).

after we both decided that we liked it (and much swooning and kissing from her affection at my new look) she decided to make this new pic, asking first if she could draw James with my new style. i agreed and this is the wonderful pic she came up with! i absolutely LOVE it! and i'm thinking that James may retain this new style. ^..^
