The time came the next day when a heavy load of goods had to be taken from Tidmouth to the other side of the island, but Colton, the only engine big enough for the job, was away at the time. The yardmaster came to Henry and Bear for help.

"Colton is the only engine big enough to haul this heavy goods train. Can you two take it?" He asked. The two looked at one another and realized that they would have to stop at Maron station, where 'Arry and Bert often loitered waiting for their trucks to take down to the smelters' yard.

"Yes sir!" Henry and Bear replied, and thus the arrangements were made, and the two coupled up to the massive train.

"Ready?" Bear called from in front.

"Ready!" Replied Henry. The guard waved his flag and the engines were away on the mainline. It was a quick sprint from the yard and through all of the stations, then the grinding ascent up Gordon's Hill.
