Description
While sent to work at the Peel Godred aluminum works, Chris, Thomas, and James meet an old enemy, Scruffey. After being sold by the ballast contractor from which he got his name, Scruffey was bought by the aluminum works and heckles the engines who work there. The three engines go to Oliver to help, causing a showdown in the yard, but after the chronically troublesome truck causes serious confusion and delay, Sir Topham Hatt and the manager of the works agree to alleviate the engines' burden by selling Scruffey to the mainland railway.
