Description
I used GIMP to modify a screenshot of one of my 3D Spaceship Creations, the Phantom-XL
The Spaceship is a futuristic sci-fi fighter craft, and carries 4 laser cannons and a variety of secondary armaments, fired from the missile pods on the top of the back. It is a model for a Descent 3 mission I did a long time back and has around 1800 polygons.
I used a gradient to create the simulated horizon and the "Sparks" brush to create the afterburner flames...
The ship image uses standard game used textures, which were from the Black Pyro textures.
It is an unusually streamlined ship and is a combination of a light interceptor with heavy armament capacity.
