(Bit of random spawned from a conversation between me and *feniiku . Actually, I like the idea of Shads having his own little Dooms Eye thingy- why not- so I may do more of that, although it won't necessarily be his chestfluff XD)

Shadow the Hedgehog. Basically, Black Doom is this giant alien guy who's black and red.
When the first Ultimate Lifeform was being created, it was, well, kind of insane. So Prof. Gerald (I think he's a professor ^^) Robotnik created a NEW one, with Black Doom's genes. But when Shadow was awakened, he possesed Black Doom's personality (to be evil) and Prof. Gerald's (Maria's grandfather) want to help everyone.
Oh yeah, and Prof. Gerald was Dr. Eggman's grandfather too. And he and Maria WOULD have been cousins, but sadly, Maria died 50 years ago.
