Rowan could feel Mihail's gaze on her but she didnt move. She began to feel a bit more embarrassed about her misunderstanding, but overall she was still just happy he was okay. She felt his presence beside her now, and she let her eyes lazily drift over to him. Her heart clenched at the concern she saw there. His face was usually frozen into a permanent neutral expression, so any sort of emotion from him still took the caralynx by surprise. She found herself muttering an "I'm alright" before the thought of even saying anything had fully registered in her mind. Rowan softly butted her head against Mihail's, trying to further reassure her friend that everything was okay and that he didn't have to worry. She sighed deeply, the realization floating back to her that she had purposefully avoided the jaguar for a long while now. There was no way to run and hide now that he was right here. Her embarrassment and awkwardness were filling her to the brim internally, but she remained calm. There was no more reason to avoid the younger Hunter.

A soft warmth rushed through the jaguar at the affectionate gesture from his older friend, itd been so long since they talked let alone share any physical contact. Their last encounter flashing though the young hunter's mind. However the stirring feeling awkwardness from the contact was overidden by his relief. She was okay and he let out a sigh of his own. Tentatively leaning forward and with a few moments of hesitation he returned the gesture grooming her gently brushed between her shoulder blades. The salty taste of ocean water enveloping his taste buds as each bead of water caught against the bristles of his rough tongue
