Description Despite what Thoth was about to do he was calm, not a bit of nervousness in his bones, because he’d made his decision, and the subsequent goodbyes. No matter his true feelings on the busy port, he’d be labeled a traitor in Massilia’s eyes but staying here wasn't on the table. Living a gluttonously peaceful life was tempting. A life relaxing on sheets instead of grass, and meat cut to eat easily. Moreso his temptation stemmed from the family he'd found here, so many faces he’d miss remained here-But that's where they belonged, and he made it clear to Raph and Mikey should they ever need him he'd at their side without a second thought, and they find whatever they need to on their journeys called life. Whether they return to the wild or stay in Massilia, Thoth respected their choices.

Upon the dark of night torches were the only thing that illuminated the streets. Guilt pooled in his stomach at leaving all of his younger siblings, biological and not, they were all the same in his eyes, and he hoped in the future they'd understand his departure, and he loved them no matter where he was in the world. He wished he could've seen them grow up, become the cats they're meant to become and the paths they'll lead, maybe someday he'd see them again- Grown up and unrecognizable to the cubs he once knew, but before then he had a new mission- And a new meaning to his life. Like his father, his sire, the leopard known as a prince of war, he'd become a teacher to anyone who seeks his knowledge and learn from his students as well for he did not know everything, that would be boring- Life was all about learning, and he wouldn't stop learning until he his took his very last breath. And if those cubs were to cross his path again, he would be eager to know what they've learned as of yet on their path. Rogues, Massilian cats, or even empires if someone wishes to learn Thoth was going to teach them.

But before he could slip out of the city walls, he had to take a risk, but it was for Donatello, and without fear he started to the colosseum. Thoth wouldn't dare leave him in the cages and be forced to fight in for the amusement of humans. If he wished to stay with his brothers, he'd understand that, but Donatello needed to know what he was planning-Where he was going.

It turns out the stars would align in their favor, and their paths crossed on that torch illuminated street. The clever one, he always was, Donatello leapt from the colosseum using his opponent as leverage and barreled into the crowd to freedom. When their eyes met, they needed nothing more said, their intentions were the same. Outfoxing their pursuers, the pair found themselves an unseen exit and they ran.

Truly Lucius was a miracle worker, as Thoth ran ahead of Donatello, ran toward the future. They were going find Leo.
