Description
I'm not entirely sure what I'm feeling today, but it isn't good. This drawing, like my feelings, is missing things... and also isn't good.I intended this character to look androgynous, and to help facilitate that, things that may explicitly give away gender are missing. Usually when I draw androgynous characters, I picture them being male or female, but this one I genuinely have no thoughts on.
This is also a bit of an experiment on my knowledge of anatomy: I used no references on this, and only used what I remember from seeing skeletons, and what I could feel of my own skeleton.(Note: fat makes it hard to feel your own bones.) I don't regularly study skeletons, human or otherwise, so I must say, I'm rather uncertain of that. Also, I REALLY don't know the shape of the human cranial cavity, the placement of the brain, or how to draw cross-sections of brains. My dad would know that sort of thing, though. He worked in a research centre that studied brain thin sections regularly... human *and* otherwise.
