Description
Now that I created a new up to date render for Guma, I saw this trend going around both Twitter and Instagram again, and I never had the chance to do it before. But now's it's time for the bear's time to shine!

Here are the inspirations I went with!

Baloo - He was the main inspiration for his appearance, facial structure, and his laid back personality.

Bear Hugger - He basically just looks like if Bear Hugger was an actual bear. Also instead of Canadian, he's American, and instead of a boxer, he just does weightlifting.

Bear (BearShark) - His early concept design was essentially just a fatter version of Bear from CollegeHumor's BearShark.

Launchpad McQuack - He has some of his wit from him (but is not as much as a doofus), and acts as the sidekick. He's the Launchpad to Swordtee's Darkwing Duck.

Abner (Chucklewood Critters) - Created Guma before discovering Abner, but as I made a return with my OCs again, I have decided to just go with it, since they both sleep and eat a lot, both wear overalls, both are laid back, and both get into business when there's trouble.

Pete - This was not a starting inspiration, but I just went with it since noticing he kind of bears (no pun intended) a resemblance to Pete in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. But this was all based on appearance, since Guma never played the villainous role or a bully type of character.
