Well, Gekkota is a bitch for basically cheating, because Ky could've won for Tortana if she hadn't done that...but, I'm proud of Daisuke. He finally did the right thing. If anyone dares hate on him this time in the comments, I will bitch slap them HARD. Marie and Daisuke are both safe!

Duh, that's why Tamara has to go. Unless she somehow finds an idol, she's gonna leave. But...the Tortana idol HASN'T been found yet. Gekkota doesn't have an idol, regardless what people think, so it's still out there. Who knows if Tamara or Sylvia could find it.

It doesn't. I mean, I can't say that with absolute certainty, but...it doesn't belong to Marie. Just because Marie was hiding behind a bush and acting funny doesn't immediately mean "OOH, SHE FOUND THE IDOL AND WAS HIDING IT! IT'S HERS!" I mean, MAYBE that's true, but what SWSU was trying to get across early on was that Marie is "suspicious, but innocent", so that makes me believe that she was just...I don't know, doing SOMETHING in the bushes, but it had nothing to do with the idol. So, really, that idol IS Brandi's, in my honest opinion.

Marie can't play an idol that's in Brandi's possession. Also, as seen in Survivor One World when Bill disposed of Colton's idol, production immediately gave Colton a new one. So, IF it was Marie's idol, I'm sure production would step in behind the scenes and give it back to her. I've never heard of someone playing an idol at tribal, but then it was proven to be someone else's and was then handed back to them instead. I mean...yes, it COULD still happen, but I really don't think it will. I doubt SWSU would put all this effort into Brandi throwing a tantrum if it really wasn't her idol.

I have no idea what that sounds like, since I hate Dragonball Z. But I'll take your word for it, since I'm a sucker for passionate theme music playing during amazing moments. And, Daisuke was always a good character; he just doesn't know what to do or what is right from wrong. Brandi and Cordelia are the vile ones. People need to leave Daisuke the hell alone.

He isn't the best at the game, but being honest, Zach had this coming. Dai was doubting himself, but let's see this new found confidence go somewhere. I seriously love Marie and Shaega having tears of joy in their eyes at the end there. You can really see how inspiring he was. And yeah, Gekkota was on some BS in this challenge.

Gekkota reminds me a lot of Juli. She CAN be likable...then she does stuff like this that pisses me off. She messes with the other tribe and gets their strongest member to jump down...and then she scolds Daisuke when realistically she could care less what happens, since she's safe regardless. That's just dirty. And...as for Daisuke...just because he's bad at the game doesn't make him a bad character; Cherman was bad at pretty much everything, yet he's one of my top 5 favorite characters of all-time!

She wasn't safe though. Brandi has an idol. Cordelia could influence Brandi and the majority to vote for anyone. Daisuke prior to this pretty much does what Zach said and can easily flip back to "Gekkota is evil and we should vote her out". Who knows what Shaega will do now thanks to his emotions suddenly showing up. And she doesn't know how long till the merge so if they continue to throw challenges who knows if she'll be the one going next after Marie, if she was the one that was going next this time.
Now she has a chance to create a fighting chance against Brandi's alliance. Side with Daisuke and Marie and at least try to force the idol to be played.

It's still pretty much her just fighting for herself, which is exactly what Juli did. I just don't have any respect for those that try to take down tribes in such a manner. But, it's fine, I see what you're saying. I just don't agree with her methods, that's all.

The game is a harsh mistress. You either have to make the moves so you can advance or ride the coattails of another and hope they vote for you because "you're not them".

Cherman was hilarious. Also, I agree. I like that Gekkota is smart enough to be aware, but it makes her quite frustrating to watch when she has no problem talking down on others, but doesn't really bother to care in the end scheme because she's not going to be affected. Is it smart to stay out of the problem? Yeah, but it when she does it like this, she does lose likability points.

I'm willing to be that's why a lot of people LIKE Gekkota, though. They find her "complex" or something. I don't know. I just don't like two-face characters that have to be something they're not, regardless if it's Survivor. I just don't like that. The second you start to turn into something you're not supposed to, you lose me. I can't respect that.

Fair enough. None of the SFC's are too "complex" anyway, but I understand. I can manage with two-faced characters, I just don't like the way it's displayed through Gekkota.

Really, for me anyway, the best characters on both sides are Marie & Daisuke for Golgora, and Ky, Taro, Sylvia, Dustin & Leah for Tortana. All seven of these characters have proven, more or less, to be good characters and those we're supposed to root for, and I can stand behind most of them. Zach doesn't seem that bad, either, but...I don't know; something about him just bugs me.
