Poster for my final year project @__@ SO MUCH WORK GAH!! anyways this is teh main character of the fiction im doing for my project which remains titleless still - . - Can you guys help me figure out a title through it's themes? The themes are, freedom, duty and sacrifice xD Preferably something on a broader scale and less linear D: any help at all will be greatly appreciated>; D
sorry the background is a little simple, wanted to keep it that way and save time >.<

All I can think of is "Escape." It looks like that's what he's contemplating, wondering if there was any way to escape his duties to have absolute freedom. Unfortunately we rarely get exactly what we want out of life and sacrifices have to be made, either minimal or extreme.

I have "Vigil" in my head based on the comments below!
Vigil: A period of keeping awake during the time usually spent asleep, esp. to keep watch or to pray.
Based on the picture:
Dark Vigil, Dawn Vigil, Death's Vigil.
Chained Vigil.
Blood Bound? << I like that one, if you don't like it, can I have it back?

Something like "time to put on the mask" like its his duty to make sacrifices for freedom but that its not who he really is inside...that the choices he makes depends on his duty.

I love how your style is so recognizable! When I first saw this, I knew it was you.
His pose is beautiful and I love the light coming from below and how it gradually fades as it gets higher.
As per titles, you could always try one in a different language or go the Naruto way and name it after the main character.

well lemme see... The duty one chooses to take is usually one that may bring some satisfaction...This person may feel free at first for doing what it likes but what is true freedom? Is it to be able to choose what duty to take or is it to have no duty at all? Choosing one thing over the other is in itself, always a simple yet great sacrifice...
So yeah , I don't know much about the fiction you're working on, but I'd wager a tittle that goes with "choice" would be a good one

epic picture and title suggestion of "Edge" which stands for being on the edge of achieveing something, like a goal or freedom, being on the brink of a precarious position (sacrifice), and edge as in the edge of a blade like the one in the picture, the knife weilded to make a sacrifice, and the sword weilded for duty. Just a suggestion and again, love the picccy! instant fave! and would recommend it for daily deviation but someone obviously got there first! go you and them!

Hmm, even though the character's really solid it looks surreal-- like he's floating over some kind of light abyss, with the gravity-defying cliff and pretty gold bottom lighting. Cool.
Title... I can't even come up with possibilities. heck, half the stuff I myself write I don't title-- I have to use little keywords so I know which story I'm thinking about
Since you know what you mean by it all, I would think your ideas would be the best, though I wish I could give some suggestions. Let me know if you want help coming up with outlandish words/languages though, since that's somehow my specialty xD

heyy man long time no see xD for the title i kinda have to settle on "stranger dawn" first since im out of time D: Can't really come up with a strong explanation for it though . I'm thinking of just using this as a temporary title just for my final year project and if i do finally decide to make it real, i could change it to a more appropriate title then D:
hmm thing is, i need someone who can write all my ideas down and maybe help me elaborate on it because i keep getting ideas here and there they sort of jump around from one scene to another so it's very hard for me to keep track, and i'm not the type to write things down >.<
so i'm thinking if after graduation i ever decide to take this seriously, i'm going to need to find a good writer who is willing to work with me D: he can write i can come up with the artworks xD cuz seriously i tried my hand at comics D: i really don't have the patience for drawing comic books D: so i guess novels is the way to go? o.o

Hi! It was great fun to come back after (being lazy) a hiatus and see I had half-a-dozen of your pictures to look at
I thought of something for the title... it's just an idea, but have you ever heard the quote (by some american founding father, maybe Ben Franklin? He happens to be my favorite but anyway... maybe Thomas Jefferson...) that "the tree of liberty must occasionally be watered by the blood of patriots lest it wither"-- not word-for-word, but vaguely. So maybe "Freedom's Tree" or "Patriot's Tree" or something, as rather abstract but related. Well, that's my idea, assuming you want to bother thinking about it, when you've already got a good good title xP
Stranger Dawn-- it's pretty abstract, and interesting. From what you've said about your story, it works-- the "dawn" would be the change of society that the hero's trying to bring about, wouldn't it? and "stranger" would be about the enemies they have to defeat-- Mechanized mofos and human cloning and whatnot.
I'm not too good at writing down/finishing my stories, myself. I'd like to, though, since to have come up with them at all is evidence that I think them worth writing... some more than others, of course. I've been trying to figure out how to get started... I'm thinking if I just write our some form of what I'm sure of, like all the scenes I know, and then work on the in-between-- and then set myself a daily quota (Terry Pratchet used to sit down after work and type 200 words, every day, apparently... something like that. Terry Pratchet is one of my most admired writers) I might make progress. Maybe. Or aim to finish a chapter by the end of the month, or something... just getting started is the point, I suppose. I've enjoyed just coming up with stories so much, and I love novels and words, that I'm sure it'll be enormously interesting and fun when I get started on it; my problem is with time. Allotting the time and being focused.
If you do that-- get someone to write it for you-- the writer you pick will have one cool job
Alternatively, you might want to spend some time working out a format in which it IS comfortable for you to write things down, even if it's not "writing-a-novel"-- if it's telling someone your ideas, or writing them out by hand, or typing them. I used to have horrible handwriting 'till I realized that the continuity of cursive helped my brain move along over ideas; unlined paper helps, too, for some reason. the Creativity factor, I guess. I can't think as I type usually, but as it turns out Notepad is an exception.
I could never keep things in my head, so I wind up spending a lot of time making sure I have a record of everything I've spent a significant amount of time on. Problem then is I have several hundred pages of discombobulated notebooks in which I write down everything from to-do lists to fantasy to horror to notes. I'd like to type them up, or at least file the pages properly.
Just telling someone/something (the computer, a friend, family-- my Mom listens to my rambling a lot, as do a couple really good friends, and occasionally my brother) helps the ideas fall into place, in my experience. But I'll let you know if I ever come up with a way to get a novel going xD
And since that was just me rambling about my ideas, don't feel obligated to reply to all of it, please :\ The problem with being most comfortable with Notepad as a place to type is that text takes up much less space here so I don't realize when I've babbled on and on and on and on.
