Description "They destroyed everything...Left nothing in their wake."

A typical Morgoth aerial assault, consisting of up to 400 Sawmouths (Small Worm-like creatures with the cannons on their backs), 250 Air Gorgers (Balloon-like beasts) and 50 Transport Beasts (largest ones) as well as some of the most devastating weaponry in the known galaxies. This fearsome aerial cavalry is a sinister sight to behold, and one of the last things many civilized races see before their imminent destruction. These tactical strikes are often followed up by the Morgoth ground forces coming in to finish the job. These attacks, and their general tactics have earned them the Nickname, "The Scourge". A well deserved moniker for the destroyers of civilizations.

Sawmouths: Sawmouths are dangerous beasts found on the planet Xyphor V. The Morgoth, after colonizing the planet, began to tame the Sawmouths, and used them as their defense and initial attack units. Sawmouths are quick, and can swoop in, make a kill, and then disappear before the enemies even know what happened. Sawmouths can reach 30 feet in length.

- Sawmouths fly due to a special air bladder in their body. Their tentacles are used to slow down or speed up, depending on the way they're positioned.
- Sawmouths are piloted by only expert Morgoth pilots due to their unpredictability and their complex handling maneuvers.
- Sawmouths have a Ground Pounder Cannon attached to their back. This cannon, operated by the pilot, can be fired with pinpoint precision, and can cause explosions up to 20 meters in size. With a decent firing speed, and up to 30 rounds, this is a devastating weapon to come up against.

Air Gorgers: Air Gorgers are a unique omnivore found on Matros XXIV. These balloon-like creatures fly by pumping air out of the large protrusions on their body. The more air pumped out a tube, the more the Gorger moves in the opposite direction. The Gorgers were adapted into the Morgoth army during the early days of their air force, and have continued to be in use due to their effectiveness. Air Gorgers can reach 40 feet in diameter.

- Air Gorgers can carry up to 10 Morgoth in their baskets. 2 of these Morgoth can use the XR-9 Plasma Launchers located on each side, while a third can use the Harpoon Cannon.
- Air Gorgers have one glaring flaw. Enough well-aimed shots can literally explode one if the shots connect with the central air pumping system.
- Each Air Gorger is armed with 2 XR-9 Plasma Launchers and a Harpoon Cannon. The XR-9 Plasma Launchers are devastating weapons adopted from another species the Morgoth conquered. These rapid fire weapons launch volleys of burning plasma into the ranks of foes, shredding through their armor and flesh with ease. The Harpoon Cannon on the other hand is a much more primitive Morgoth developed weapon. Using a primitive computer navigation system, the Morgoth soldier can see his foes and adjust the Cannon's angle according. Once the shot is lined up, the Harpoon launches at speeds reaching 200 miles an hour. Upon impact, the 3 meter harpoon will impale just about anything.

Transport Beasts: These massive beasts are found on the moons of Kyenos. Transport Beasts are harmless themselves, but when they were combined with the brutal might and ferocity of the Morgoth empire, they became a terrifying sight, and foe. Tough to kill, and able to carry up to 75 Morgoth Soldiers each, the Transport Beasts definitely earn their feared reputation among the Morgoth ranks. Transport Beasts can reach up to 100+ feet in length.

- Transport Beasts are armed with 25 "Heavy Guns". These aptly named weapons fire bullets the size of a pop can at a quick speed. Understandably, these weapons can punch holes in steel and can rip through infantry armor like nothing. These are often used to take down mid-sized buildings. When the first gun starts firing, find some heavy-duty cover, and hope for the best.
- Transport Beasts, like their allied beasts, fly by using an advanced air sack located within their body. Unlike their brethren, it is very hard to penetrate due to their rubbery, gelatinous skin.
- Transport Beasts are also armed with 2, three-barrelled Ultra Cannons. Located on the bottom of the troop container, these cannons are operated by a Morgoth Commander. Able to fire a round every 10 seconds, these devastating cannons can annihilate even large buildings with just a few shots. These cannons retract when the Transport Beast lands.

Another one of my invasion ideas. I also like the shot with the guys in the front staring out at whatever. For a frame of reference, the Morgoth Soldiers are about 10 feet tall. Also one of the few backgrounds I've done, although it's pretty terrible.
